My name is Henry Jackson. An Outdoor Lovin’, Camera Slingin’, Fun Bringin’ Son of a gun! Blissful wandering, endless curiosity, and always enjoying a good laugh are only a few of the many things that describe my personality. I’m a freelance videographer/photographer and Content Creator living full time on the road traveling wherever the story and the camera takes me. Creativity has been in my blood since I was born as I always excelled the arts as a kid. That life of youthful creativity manifested itself into the craft of creating with a camera as an adult. To say I have an obsession the natural world around us would probably be an understatement. The camera has been an amazing excuse to experience this beautiful planet through the lens. Originally from Dallas, Texas I moved to the Pacific Northwest with literally nothing other than the thought of knowing that I had plenty of diverse natural ecosystems to explore. Then I took another leap into the life of traveling across the U.S in a truck camper. Unlike others in this industry, I was not raised in the outdoors but was always somehow fascinated by it from a young age and eventually just immersed myself in it as I got older. Nature completely changed my life in numerous ways taking me out of depression and helped me find myself. I would not be the person I am today if it wasn’t for it. For that reason, I’ve dedicated my creative craft to nature and to the amazing people that advocate for and interact with it in many different ways by creating digital content ranging from social media content, advertisements, and documentary projects. From coming up with the ideas, scripting, modeling, shooting, and editing I have the experience from top to bottom to handle your next project. This section is supposed to be about me, but really it’s about the amazing individuals and companies that spread the message of the great outdoors. In the grand scheme of things it’s my job to assist in visually bringing those ideas and stories to life in uniquely creative ways.
